Good Thing Now: Dall-E

DALL-E 2, a new AI system that can create realistic images and art from a description in natural language is both astounding and, frankly, worrisome. I'm listing it as a Good Thing because right now it really is pretty astonishing and I think it's important to make folks aware of just how powerful this tech is already. I can think of thousands of amazing and enriching ways to use this tool. Sadly, I can also think of thousands of ways to misuse this tool. For now, have fun creating things like:

"two orcas having tea in pop art style"

or, "Hilma af Klint riding a skateboard in surrealist style"
